Dermatitis, also known as reticulolymphangitis, is an acute inflammation of the skin, subcutaneous tissues and reticulolymph nodes caused by beta-hemolytic streptococcus, usually on the face and lower extremities, manifesting as limited redness, swelling, heat and pain with clear borders. The onset of the disease is rapid and is often preceded by headache, fever, nausea, chills and vomiting. When the rash appears, it may be accompanied by redness and swelling, and some of them may have large blisters, hemorrhagic blisters, blisters, etc. It may also be accompanied by local lymph node enlargement. After the disease gradually subsides, the lesions may show hyperpigmentation and desquamation. Usually there are several types of treatment as follows: 1. Systemic medication: intravenous or intramuscular penicillin is preferred, and the medication should be given continuously for about 2 weeks after the body temperature is lowered. Penicillin allergy can be treated with erythromycin, azithromycin, ofloxacin, ciprofloxacin and other antibiotics; 2, local medication: often given magnesium sulfate solution, boric acid solution, furacilin solution local wet compress, or Vaseline ointment, mupirocin ointment, hydrogen peroxide ointment, gold dispersion, ichthyolite ointment and other local application to relieve skin redness, swelling and pain; 3, other treatment: commonly used ultraviolet radiation, ultra-short wave therapy, semiconductor laser and other physical therapy. Chinese herbs such as wild chrysanthemum, dandelion, daidian, cypress, and gypsum are ground into powder or boiled in water for wet application, which also help to relieve skin symptoms, but need to be used under the guidance of Chinese medicine practitioners. Patients with dermatophytosis generally have a better prognosis, and there is a possibility of cure with active treatment for early detection of the disease, but skin damage may take some time to fully recover with flaking. Tinea pedis, eczema, diabetes, malnutrition and other conditions often induce dermatophytosis, so patients need to actively treat the original disease to avoid recurrent attacks of dermatophytosis.
