Gestational Diabetes Recipes

Recently there have been more students and friends inquiring about gestational diabetes recipes, so here is a recipe I shared with you that I helped my best friend develop. She is 29 years old, 160 centimeters tall, 25 weeks pregnant, currently weighs 66 kilograms (weight gain is within a reasonable range), and diagnosed with gestational diabetes. She likes to eat soybean milk, cucumber, pig’s feet, breakfast and lunch are eaten in the unit cafeteria, dinner is sometimes eaten out, do not like sports. The approximate size of dishes or staples such as plates, bowls, steamed buns, rolls, etc. in her unit was known to facilitate quantification of her three meals a day. Dietary assessment revealed that her meal size was on the large side (her stomach had been enlarged and she needed to reduce her food intake slowly, otherwise she would be easily starved if the reduction was too large and would not be easy to adhere to), her total calorie count was over the limit, her oil and salt intake was on the large side, she ate too many nuts, and her exercise was on the small side. Calculate her daily calorie requirements of about 1800-1900 kcal, daily diet type and quantity (raw weight): 275-300 grams of staple food, 800-1000 grams of vegetables, 150 grams of meat, 400 milliliters of milk, 1 egg, 50 grams of soybean products, 150-200 grams of fruits, 5-6 grams of salt, there are 20-25 grams. Note: Staple food with meat filling, such as meat pie, meat bun, etc. should calculate the amount of meat. Groundnuts and potatoes are calculated according to the staple food, 100 grams of groundnuts = 25 grams of staple food; Lean meat can be more fish, shrimp, chicken and duck (without skin), not pig’s feet; More vegetables, can be cold or raw, less oil, no sugar, other seasonings in moderation; Milk or yogurt try to choose low-fat, sugar-free; Diet timed, 5-6 meals a day; Walking or brisk walking for more than 40min a day; 25 grams of oil is about two and a half spoons ( 25 grams of oil is about two and a half spoons (white porcelain spoon for soup) = 15 peanuts = 2 walnuts, more nuts need to reduce the oil; according to their own dietary preferences can be properly adjusted to the amount of intake of different types of food (refer to the table of food exchanges), such as less than 25 grams of staple food can be more than 50 meat, but to ensure that the day’s total calorie does not exceed the standard, the staple food is not less than 150 grams / day.
