What’s wrong with seeing a brown discharge and not getting your period?

If you see brown discharge but can’t get your period, it may be due to pathological factors such as abnormal uterine bleeding due to ovulatory disorders or polycystic ovary syndrome, or it may be related to pregnancy if you are a woman of childbearing age.
1. Abnormal uterine bleeding due to ovarian dysfunction: due to insufficient estrogen secretion, the uterus is unable to proliferate and thicken normally, and thus is unable to shed normally and discharge in the form of menstruation.
2. Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS): mainly caused by high androgen, the endometrium is unable to grow to a thickness that can be shed, which in turn causes gynecological symptoms such as scanty menstruation, low amount of menstruation, and absence of ovulation, and can also lead to acne, hirsutism and other skin problems.
3. Pregnancy: After pregnancy, there may be a small amount of vaginal bleeding when the fertilized egg is deposited, which is not accompanied by obvious abdominal pain and discomfort, mostly due to the phenomenon of implantation, but it is also necessary to come to the hospital in a timely manner to rule out abnormalities.
If the fertilized egg is not developed properly or not properly implanted, such as ectopic pregnancy, preterm abortion, etc., it may also lead to the situation that the brown discharge will not be able to get menstruation.
There may also be other conditions such as cervical and uterine adhesions, endometrial tuberculosis, etc. It is recommended to consult a doctor in time to avoid delaying the condition.
