Compound Soft Liver Tablet is composed of Angelica sinensis, Panax ginseng, Codonopsis pilosulae, Curcuma longa, Radix Paeoniae alba, Astragalus membranaceus, Tetrapodidae, Zihechuan, Cordyceps sinensis, Panax quinquefolium and Forsythia, which is known for its effects of benefiting qi and nourishing blood, resolving blood stasis and removing toxins and softening and dispersing hard lumps.
This product is used in chronic hepatitis B with liver fibrosis, and early cirrhosis with blood stasis and obstruction of collaterals, deficiency of qi and blood with heat and toxin not yet exhausted. Symptoms include hidden pain in the chest and ribs, dark complexion, dryness and bitterness in the mouth, reddish threads, poor appetite, loose stools, and fatigue.
Adverse effects of the drug are occasional mild gastrointestinal reactions, which usually resolve on their own. The drug is contraindicated in pregnant women, and the precautions are not yet clear.
