In clinical work, we often meet such cases: the patient’s vision has been bad, and the examination and treatment in ophthalmology have been ineffective for a long time, and no exact problem seems to be found. Other patients with menstrual disorders, or infertility, have been treated in obstetrics and gynecology and endocrinology for a period of time, but also to no avail. Finally, an MRI of the head was checked and it was found that the original cause was intracranial and there was already a large tumor in the saddle area. After the surgery to remove the tumor, the original eye or endocrine problem also gradually recovered. This is what needs special attention, that is, intracranial tumor may be manifested as ophthalmology or obstetrics and gynecology, endocrinology diseases, if the head examination is neglected, the most fundamental cause may be missed, and thus the treatment will only be temporary or “long lasting”.
