If a patient has a cyst on the left side, different treatment methods can be adopted according to the size of the cyst, whether the cyst is accompanied by local compression symptoms and whether the cyst is prone to cancer. If the cyst is large in size, causing local neurovascular compression, accompanied by different degrees of pain and numbness, it is more likely to become cancerous through ultrasound and CT examination. It is suggested that the patient should have the cyst removed in time to release the local nerve or tissue compression, which can achieve better results clinically. Secondly, if the volume of the cyst on the left side of the patient is small and does not cause obvious local compression symptoms, the chance of the cyst becoming cancerous is considered to be low through relevant examinations. In order to avoid excessive damage, patients are advised to closely observe the changes of the cyst and no special treatment is needed for the time being. If the cyst gradually increases in size during the process of close observation, timely surgical excision can be considered.
