How to treat physiological cysts

Physiological cysts are most commonly found in the pelvic and abdominal cavities and require surgical treatment if they are relatively large. If the volume is larger than 5 cm, accompanied by paroxysmal abdominal cramps, the nature of the cyst needs to be determined first and surgical exploration performed to see if it is a benign or malignant cyst. Smaller physiological cysts can be observed first and reviewed every 2-3 months at the beginning, and treatment plan will be made later according to the situation. If there is no change in the cyst before 1 month and there is no significant shrinkage or enlargement, it is basically a functional cyst. If the cyst enlarges more significantly, the identification of the nature of the cyst needs to be carried out promptly, and the benign one should also be taken seriously as it may cause torsion. If it is malignant, it needs to be removed surgically immediately.
