How to prevent the occurrence of stroke

To prevent the occurrence of stroke, we should pay attention to the following four aspects. First, to maintain the mind and body health. Mind and body health includes optimism and openness, emotional stability, work and rest, regular life, sexual life in moderation, bowel movement. Because of emotional instability, mental overstrain, overworked life, over-excited sexual life and bowel movements holding gas force, are able to make a sudden rise in blood pressure, which can lead to a stroke; life is too comfortable, can make the blood run slowly, but also easy to induce a stroke. Therefore, both to avoid the mental overstrain of the bad stimulus, but also to avoid overwork, excessive rest and improper sexual life on the body, only then, it is possible to avoid the occurrence of stroke. Second, we should pay attention to a light diet, quit smoking and prohibit alcohol. Some people investigated 345 cases of stroke patients on fatty diet preference, the results of the preference for fatty diet stroke patients amounted to 118 cases, accounting for 34.2%; someone also counted 241 cases of stroke patients, 137 cases of smoking, alcohol and spicy hobbies, accounting for 56.8%. Others surveyed 253 cases of stroke patients, of which more than 20 cigarettes per day, smoking history of more than 10 years of patients, amounted to 125 cases, accounting for 49.4%, the control group of 200 cases, only 31 cases, or 15.5%. It was found that among those who drank ≥100 ml of liquor per day and those who drank for ≥10 years, 4.4%-5.7% had a stroke, which was 10-15 times greater than the incidence of stroke among non-drinkers in the surveyed population. All of the above shows that the onset of stroke and eating fatty, sweet and thick, smoking and alcohol have a certain relationship, suggesting that the prevention of stroke should pay attention to a light diet and smoking cessation, alcohol prohibition issues. Third, to actively intervene in the risk factors of stroke. Risk factors for stroke include the following 10 types: ① Age and gender. ②Race and family history. ③High and low blood pressure. ④Heart disease. ⑤ Diabetes mellitus. ⑥High cholesterol and other hyperlipidemia. ⑦Smoking and alcohol abuse. ⑧Obesity. ⑨ Dietary factors. ⑩Emotional, life and other factors. These risk factors can be divided into two categories, one is unavoidable or difficult to reverse risk factors, such as age, gender, race, family history (genetic inheritance); the other is the risk factors that can be intervened or can be reversed, especially hypertension, hypotension, diabetes, heart disease, hyperlipidemia, dietary habits, bad mood, etc.. For these risk factors, if you can actively intervene in three aspects of medication, food and life, you may be able to prevent the occurrence of stroke. Fourth, to actively treat transient ischemic attack. Transient ischemic attack is the precursor of cerebral infarction, which occurs in about 25% to 50% of patients within 5 years, half of them within 1 year after the onset of transient ischemic attack, and 20% within 30 days. Frequent transient ischemic attacks in the near future are a special alert for cerebral infarction, and about 7% of patients with multiple attacks develop a complete stroke each year. Therefore, timely diagnosis and aggressive treatment of transient ischemic attacks is the key to preventing cerebral infarction.
