Calcified gallstones refer to the shape of the patient’s gallstones or the type of gallstones. Usually, gallstones are mainly cholesterol stones, so they are relatively hard in texture. Some patients have mixed stones, that is, cholesterol stones and pigment gallstones mixed together, and the stones are relatively loose, which may be easily broken during surgery, or when some drugs are used to dissolve the stones, the stones may shrink. In addition, patients with gallstones usually need a light diet. If patients have a history of vague abdominal pain, distension, or gallbladder inflammation, it is recommended that they need to undergo surgery.
