Pain in the stomach after waking up in the morning may be caused by cold in the abdomen during sleep. The pain may also be caused by inflammation of the stomach or gastric ulcer. Generally, the pain in the upper abdomen is more obvious when the stomach is empty due to more acid. Gastroscopy can be performed to clarify, usually to find inflammation or ulcerative lesions in the stomach, and after the diagnosis is clear, drugs are usually needed to treat, such as rabeprazole, clarithromycin, amoxicillin and so on.
