Cervical immunohistochemistry P16(+)

P16 is a cytokinin-dependent protein kinase inhibitor, and cervical immunohistochemistry for P16 (+) suggests cervical squamous intraepithelial neoplasia. If it is basal (+), or 1/3 (+) within the squamous epithelium, it is a low-grade intraepithelial neoplasia of the cervical epithelium. If the cervical immunohistochemistry P16 (+) is 2/3 or more, it is a high-grade cervical lesion. The treatment options and methods for low-grade and high-grade cervical lesions are different. 1. Low-grade lesions: Temporary observation, daily exercise to improve immunity, or application of local antiviral drugs for treatment, and re-examination in 3 months to 6 months. 2. High-grade lesions: High-grade cervical lesions require conical hysterectomy and further treatment, such as total hysterectomy, according to pathological results. etc. For cervical immune P16 (+), the treatment plan should be decided in conjunction with the extent of the lesion. Patients are advised to actively cooperate with their physicians for consultation and treatment to improve the prognosis.
