How to treat gallstones

During a recent outpatient visit, I met a Mr. Li, who is 56 years old and has been suffering from diabetes for 12 years and has been maintained by medication. Recently, he was found to have gallstones of 2.5*2.0 and came to consult whether he could have gallstone preservation and extraction. Since diabetic patients are prone to gallbladder stones, the chances of recurrence are high if biliary stone extraction surgery is taken, and biliary stone extraction surgery is not advisable, so the patient was finally advised to undergo laparoscopic cholecystectomy. This situation is often encountered in outpatient clinics, and I will explain the good and bad benefits of laparoscopic cholecystectomy and laparoscopic cholecystectomy. First of all, biliary stone extraction is a new surgical procedure, the technology is not mature enough, and the recurrence rate is large. It is still a controversial procedure without being recognized by the entire World Health Organization, medical colleagues. On the contrary, the clinical use of cholecystectomy to treat gallbladder stones and other gallbladder diseases has been used worldwide for more than 100 years, and in the course of more than 100 years, it has been proven that cholecystectomy is a safe and reliable surgical method with minimal impact on the human body. It is also the most commonly used and most versatile method, and minimally invasive treatment with minimal trauma, quick recovery, and aesthetics. Secondly, there are strict indications for gallbladder removal. Forcing the gallbladder to retain a thickened wall and a non-contracting gallbladder can have negative effects on the patient. A non-functional gallbladder is like a pool of stagnant water, which will breed a lot of bacteria and form stones, causing harm to the human body. Third, many patients are concerned about the impact of losing their gallbladder on their daily lives. The function of gallbladder in human body is equivalent to a small warehouse of bile, the gallbladder itself does not have the function of bile secretion, bile is secreted by the bile duct of liver, so after gallbladder removal, the secretion of bile is not affected and can eat normally. The gallbladder warehouse function will be replaced by other intra- and extra-hepatic bile ducts with minimal impact on the human body. Gallstone disease has become a common disease in China, and laparoscopic cholecystectomy is still the main means of surgical treatment for gallbladder stones. After the above description, I hope it can bring help to you.
