How to treat scrotal cysts

Scrotal cysts are benign lesions, and different treatment modalities are adopted depending on whether there are clinical symptoms and the size and location of the cysts. For very small cysts, referring to those within 4 cm, without any clinical symptoms, we can temporarily dispense with treatment and wait for observation. It is recommended to review the scrotal ultrasound examination once every six months to clarify the changes of the disease, and once there is an increase, it is recommended to take surgery in time. For cysts over 4 cm or cysts that have caused pressure symptoms, resulting in scrotal discomfort, scrotal dampness, repeatedly induced scrotal inflammation, scrotal swelling, and even clinical symptoms such as affecting urination, it is recommended that surgical treatment can be performed in the hospital, and the treatment methods are scrotal cyst puncture and fluid extraction and cyst removal surgery. If the cyst is caused by an inflammatory disease, it also needs to be treated with cephalosporins or quinolones together with anti-inflammatory treatment. No matter which treatment is taken, it should be done under the guidance of a doctor.
