How to detect vulvar cancer

The method of examining vulvar cancer, besides the clinical symptoms, medical history and lesion characteristics of its patients, it is better to adopt biopsy method to do pathology, including cytological and histological pathological examination, in order to finally make a clear diagnosis, for the following reasons: 1. Vulvar cancer is a relatively common epithelial malignant tumor of female genital tract, which is mostly squamous cell carcinoma in pathology, often occurring in the labia majora and minora, vagina, vulva and other parts. Usually, the diseased area will appear nodular, papillary or cauliflower-like, accompanied by changes such as bleeding, necrosis and ulceration, in which case, the morphological and structural changes of the lesion can be observed under the microscope for a definite diagnosis. 2. Usually, vulvar cancer is associated with viral infection, such as HPV, therefore, clinically, vulvar cytology and HPV virus detection can be performed to observe the cell morphology, and if there is any abnormality, further biopsy can be performed. If there is any abnormality, further biopsy can be performed to guide clinical treatment. Therefore, although there are more methods to examine vulvar cancer, the most effective method is pathological examination, which is the gold standard and the golden diagnosis.
