The most representative precancerous lesion of the vulva may be leukoplakia. It is a gynecologic disease that commonly appears as white patches around the anus and other areas due to excessive proliferation and keratinization of the squamous epithelium. If left untreated, it may develop into squamous cell carcinoma. There are many factors that cause white patches, such as infection, endocrine disorders, inflammatory irritation, diabetes, eczema, genetics, etc. In case of chronic simple mosses, the malignant rate is low, and there is a possibility of distant recurrence with surgery alone. Sclerosing mosses are mostly treatable, but not completely curable, and there is a possibility of cancer in 2%-6% of patients. Precancerous lesions only have the possibility of cancer, it does not mean it is equal to cancer.
