Manifestations of Down’s syndrome

The deep inner canthus of the eyes of Down’s children belongs to the special facial features of Down’s babies, which can be manifested as upward slanting of the outer canthus, widened eye spacing, collapsed nose, low ear position, often open mouth and stretched tongue, and through palm in the hand, and some babies can be accompanied by congenital malformations, such as congenital heart disease and external genital malformation. The disease belongs to chromosomal lesions, also called trisomy 21. There is no special treatment, only through early active intervention and rehabilitation, the baby’s intelligence and physical ability can be improved and enhanced to a certain extent, so that the baby can live a self-care life and integrate into society, thus reducing the burden on the family and society.
