Bronchoscopy room was established in 1985, after more than twenty years of continuous exploration and innovation, in the diagnosis of respiratory diseases and interventional therapy gradually formed a complete set of perfect technical system, in the Armed Forces medical system in the leading level. Now we have the international leading electronic bronchoscope – Olympus (OLAMPUS) CV-260 and its supporting high-frequency electrosurgical knife, argon knife, freezer, microwave therapeutic instrument. Since 2005, we have been actively introducing, digesting and absorbing advanced technologies at home and abroad, and have taken the lead in carrying out a number of diagnostic and therapeutic techniques of electronic bronchoscopy, such as: high-frequency electrosurgical treatment, argon knife treatment, cryotherapy, microwave therapy, balloon dilatation and memory alloy stent insertion in the treatment of benign and malignant airway stenosis, resection and treatment of benign tumors of trachea-bronchus, and the removal of trachea-bronchus foreign body, and other high-precision and advanced therapeutic means. The effective rate is more than 90%. It avoids the pain of open-heart surgery for benign diseases. For tracheal tuberculosis and other benign stenosis, we have achieved good therapeutic effect by means of endotracheal instillation, balloon dilatation, stent placement, freezing, electrocautery and other comprehensive means, avoiding patients’ disability and declining quality of life. The diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer has gradually formed multidisciplinary cooperation through the combination of imaging, bronchoscopy, serology and pathology, etc., and the diagnosis can be rapidly confirmed. Comprehensive treatment methods including surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and intervention, biological and traditional Chinese medicine are also adopted to effectively improve the quality of life and survival period of lung cancer patients.
