There are several types of nephritis

Nephritis is short for glomerulonephritis, with proteinuria, hematuria, edema and hypertension as the main manifestations, which is divided into acute glomerulonephritis, acute glomerulonephritis, chronic glomerulonephritis and so on.
1. Acute glomerulonephritis, referred to as acute nephritis, is a group of diseases with acute nephritis syndrome as the main clinical manifestation. Clinical characteristics of acute onset, manifested as hematuria, proteinuria, edema and hypertension, may be accompanied by transient renal insufficiency. Mostly seen after streptococcal infection, other bacterial, viral and parasitic infections can also be caused.
2. Acute glomerulonephritis, i.e. acute progressive nephritis, is a group of diseases based on acute nephritic syndrome with rapid progression of renal function and pathological type of crescentic nephritis.
3. Chronic glomerulonephritis, referred to as chronic nephritis, is characterized by proteinuria, hematuria, hypertension and edema as the basic clinical manifestations, with different ways of onset, prolonged and slow progression of the disease, with different degrees of renal impairment, and some of the patients will eventually develop to end-stage renal failure.
Patients with nephritis should go to the hospital in time for consultation and standardized diagnosis and treatment under the guidance of professional doctors.
