Stomach discomfort to identify the cause, may be gastritis, gastric ulcer, gastric mesenchymal tumors, etc., need to be under the guidance of the doctor to carry out targeted treatment, such as drug therapy, surgical treatment.
1. Gastritis: often manifested as pain in the upper and middle abdomen, abdominal distension, belching, nausea, loss of appetite, gastrointestinal bleeding and so on. Commonly used drugs include acid inhibitors such as omeprazole and famotidine, antacids such as calcium carbonate, gastric mucosa protection drugs such as bismuth potassium citrate, and gastrointestinal stimulants such as domperidone.
2. Gastric ulcer: the performance of “postprandial pain” as the main feature, commonly used drugs such as lansoprazole, nizatidine and other drugs to inhibit gastric acid secretion, aluminum hydroxide and other drugs to protect the gastric mucosa.
For Helicobacter pylori, one proton pump inhibitor (e.g. pantoprazole) + two antibiotics (e.g. amoxicillin + clarithromycin) and one bismuth agent (e.g. bismuth pectin) should be considered; if necessary, surgical resection of the ulcer site should be performed.
3. Gastric mesenchymal tumor: some patients are asymptomatic, some patients may touch the abdominal mass, even with blood vomiting. Those who can be operated need to consider surgical resection as early as possible; those who cannot be operated, consider targeted drug therapy, such as imatinib.
There are more reasons for stomach discomfort, and other factors cannot be ruled out. It is recommended that the patient should consult the doctor in time, and after the doctor clarifies the cause, the patient should be given targeted treatment and medication under the doctor’s guidance, do not blindly self-medication.
