There are two types of swelling caused by early nephropathy.
Nephrotic oedema which mostly starts in the lower limbs.
Nephrotic oedema tends to start in the eyelids.
It is accompanied by elevated blood pressure, haematuria and proteinuria.
Extra attention can be paid to the development of nephropathy when puffy feet are present, but it may also be physiological puffiness of both feet.
