What is swelling of the feet in advanced myeloma?

Multiple myeloma is a malignant proliferative disease of plasma cells that can involve the kidneys in advanced stages. When patients have kidney damage, renal tubular damage, chronic or acute renal insufficiency, renal excretion and regulatory dysfunction, which can cause water and sodium retention in the body, as well as the tendency of such patients to combine with hypoproteinemia, the combined effect causes swelling of the lower limbs.
