Indications for surgery for endometrial polyps usually include the following: 1) endometrial polyps: they can lead to irregular menstrual bleeding; 2) multiple endometrial polyps or polyps that are too large: surgical intervention is usually required; 3) endometrial polyps in perimenopausal women: if malignant changes occur, surgical intervention is required. In addition, after endometrial polyp patients are treated by surgery, they need to be followed up regularly, because of its relatively high incidence and recurrence rate, especially for women in their reproductive years with high hormone levels. Due to incomplete treatment, once recurrence occurs, it is recommended to choose medication or surgical intervention to prevent anemia and infection.
