There are two ways of treating an abscessed bag on the body: topical treatment and medication. Can’t single comment which way is better, the root of the abscess specific situation choose symptomatic treatment is more important.
1. local treatment: in the red and swollen stage can choose hot compresses, ultra-short wave, infrared and other physiotherapy, to promote blood circulation in the infected area, so that the inflammation subsides faster; you can also use the ichthyol ointment, to promote the formation of abscesses.
If there is a pus spot with fluctuating sensation at the top of the pustule, you can use iodine adhesive to apply the pus spot, or you can use the tip of a small knife, needle tip, etc. to remove the pus plug, and then drain the pus, and change the medication on a regular basis. If there are multiple pus spots and the surface breaks down and starts to flow pus, it is necessary to make incision and drain the pus, and change the medicine regularly.
2. Medication: if fever, headache and other generalized symptoms occur, amoxicillin, cefaclor and other antibiotics can be taken, and ibuprofen, acetaminophen and other drugs can be taken if the body temperature is high. Avoid further episodes of acute lymphadenitis, lymphadenitis and so on.
Do not use medication on your own when you have an abscessed bag on your body, you need to seek medical treatment as soon as possible to avoid serious complications.
