What are the symptoms of cerebral infarction

  Cerebral infarction is ischemic necrosis or softening of limited brain tissue due to impaired blood circulation, ischemia and hypoxia in the brain, and its symptoms depend on the size and location of the infarct foci, blood supply vessels, etc., and can be divided into three categories: (1) typical manifestations: cerebral infarction can start suddenly or progress slowly and worsen, and the main symptoms are weakness and numbness of one limb, distorted mouth and tongue, slurred speech or incomprehension of others’ These symptoms are more common.  (2) Atypical manifestations: some patients show symptoms of dizziness, which can be a sense of spinning, or just a sense of dizziness, double shadows in vision, difficulty in swallowing or choking on water, or walking with skewing to one side, hitting the door frame, or pain in the deviated body, or shaking of the limbs and other atypical symptoms, which are actually some special parts of cerebral infarction, this type of infarction is atypical, but often the condition is more likely to change and should be noted. (3) Critical manifestations: If the area of cerebral infarction is large or the key part of cerebral infarction occurs, it will cause the patient to become confused or even comatose, and it may also involve the respiratory and circulatory center to endanger the patient’s life, this type indicates a serious condition, and if the degree of consciousness impairment gradually increases, it indicates the progress of the disease, and emergency medical treatment or rescue treatment should be sought.  Therefore, there are various symptoms of cerebral infarction, and if one or more of the above symptoms appear, it indicates that cerebral infarction may have occurred, and timely medical treatment should be sought to avoid delaying the condition.
