Prevention for patients with liver disease tolerance

Hepatopathic appearance is mostly seen in patients with chronic hepatitis and cirrhosis, and is one of the common clinical manifestations in patients with liver disease. Most of the patients with hepatopathy are characterized by dry skin, dark and gray face, and some patients may also have hyperpigmentation on the face and other exposed areas of the skin, especially around the eyes. The prevention methods for patients with liver disease tolerance are as follows. 1, rest: patients with compensated liver function should avoid overexertion and can participate in general light work; patients with liver function abnormalities and complications in the decompensation period should pay attention to bed rest. 2.Diet: The diet of patients with cirrhosis should be based on high-calorie, high-protein and vitamin-rich and easy-to-digest soft foods, and alcohol should also be prohibited. When liver function is significantly impaired or there is a precursor of hepatic encephalopathy, protein intake should be restricted or prohibited; patients with ascites should have a low-salt or salt-free diet; avoid hard and rough food. 3.Supportive treatment: Patients in the decompensated stage of liver cirrhosis mostly have nausea, vomiting and reduced eating, so it is appropriate to intravenous input of hypertonic glucose to replenish the necessary heat of the body, and vitamins, insulin, potassium chloride, etc. can be added to the infusion, while special attention should be paid to maintaining water, electrolyte and acid-base balance, and amino acids, albumin, fresh blood, etc. can be applied as appropriate in severe cases.
