Usually, after the surgery, hypothermia is easy to occur. If it is only a routine surgery, it is easier to have a low fever within 3 days after surgery, which is a postoperative absorption fever, usually within 38℃, accompanied by other uncomfortable symptoms such as no chill, dizziness, etc. Most patients can reduce the fever within 3 days, and usually no special treatment is needed. If it is after a larger surgery, the duration of postoperative low-grade fever may also be extended to about 5 days. Patients need to be aware that if the postoperative temperature reaches 38°C or higher, or if the fever exceeds 3 days, they need to be alerted to a postoperative infection and may be treated with antibiotics to help reduce the fever if necessary.
