There are more causes of headache and vomiting, common ones are high blood pressure, pneumonia, cerebral hemorrhage, etc. Different diseases are treated in different ways, so it is suggested that patients should consult the doctor in time to get a clear diagnosis and be given targeted treatment by the doctor, such as medication and surgery.
1. High blood pressure: Headaches caused by high blood pressure are mostly in the frontal area or the whole head, and may be accompanied by vomiting, neck tightness and other symptoms. Commonly used drugs include diuretics (e.g. hydrochlorothiazide, etc.), beta-blockers (e.g. metoprolol, etc.), calcium channel blockers (nifedipine, etc.). At the same time, weight reduction should be carried out, sodium and fat intake should be controlled, and exercise should be increased.
2. Pneumonia: For bacterial pneumonia, antibiotics (e.g. levofloxacin, roxithromycin, etc.) are commonly used; for viral pneumonia, antiviral drugs (e.g. ribavirin, oseltamivir, etc.) can be used. For those with fever or obvious pain symptoms, antipyretic and analgesic drugs (ibuprofen, etc.) can be applied. For those who vomit, nasal secretion should be removed in time to keep breathing.
3. Cerebral hemorrhage: it is often manifested as headache, vomiting and different degrees of consciousness disorder. First of all, patients should rest in bed and keep the airway open. Treatment includes dehydration to lower the cranial pressure (e.g. mannitol, etc.), adjusting the blood pressure (e.g. nifedipine), and correcting the abnormalities of coagulation (supplementation of coagulation factors, etc.). If necessary, surgical treatment, such as ventricular puncture and drainage, is also required.
In addition, headache and vomiting may also be caused by craniocerebral trauma, intracranial infection, neck disease, etc. If the symptoms persist for a long period of time, consult a doctor in time to clarify the cause of the disease.
