Does lung cancer affect vocalization?

If lung cancer is combined with mediastinal lymph node metastasis or supraclavicular lymph node metastasis, it can lead to hoarseness and other manifestations. In a few cases, patients who visited the clinic because of hoarseness were found to have enlarged supraclavicular lymph nodes or mediastinal lymph nodes after lung CT or neck CT, and then a lung mass was found after further lung CT, and then lung cancer was diagnosed. Therefore, lung cancer can affect vocalization, especially when combined with mediastinal lymph node metastasis and supraclavicular lymph node metastasis. In rare cases, lung cancer may also affect the voice when brain metastasis occurs. Therefore, sudden voice changes, especially in middle-aged and elderly people with hoarseness, history of smoking, unexplained cough and coughing up blood, must be judged whether there is a possibility of lung cancer. Further CT and fiberoptic bronchoscopy can clarify whether it is lung cancer.
