Psychosis ≠ neurosis?

The former is mainly for treating mental illness and psychological disorders, and in some hospitals, it is also called “psychiatry” or “clinical psychology”, so it is easier for the public to distinguish.  ”Psychiatric disease ≠ neurological disease” refers to a disease in which the human brain is dysfunctional under the influence of biological, psychological and social environmental factors, resulting in different degrees of impairment in cognitive, emotional, volitional and other mental activities. Neurological disease” is an organic disease of the nervous system. There is a qualitative difference between the two and they should not be confused.  Mental illness is mainly divided into mild mental illness and heavy mental illness. Common mild mental illnesses include neurasthenia, obsessive-compulsive disorder, depression, etc., which can cause anxiety, apprehension, pessimism, etc.  Depression is one of the most familiar psychiatric disorders to the general public and has become one of the most important diseases that endanger human health and cause great suffering to patients and their families.  Don’t underestimate it! Sleep disorders hurt and grieve.  Most patients with psychiatric disorders are accompanied by sleep disorders, with a global prevalence of 27% and a prevalence of 38.2% in China. The sleep quality of patients reflects the regression, fluctuation or deterioration of the disease, and is one of the important indicators of the disease observation. Good sleep is beneficial to the recovery of mental illness, making the patient relaxed and happy. However, modern fast life is “stressful” and sleep disorders are plaguing many people.  Understanding and caring for patients, but there are limits When it comes to mental illness, many people are afraid, President Lu Lin said, in fact, more than 80% of patients with mental illness is not a serious mental disorder, as long as through active treatment, generally can be recovered. The treatment is not complicated, mainly medication, psychotherapy and physical therapy. For patients with more serious mental disorders, they can be returned to society through hospitalization, community follow-up management, community rehabilitation, and family rehabilitation. It is worth emphasizing that the understanding and care of the public community is very important for the rehabilitation of patients.  To understand patients but not bottomless tolerance, especially for child psychiatric patients, President Lu Lin stressed that parents should not scold and punish their children in the parenting process, nor should they be accommodating and spoiled, but should maintain a certain principled attitude; to establish a sense of respect for the affected children, sensitive to their psychological and physical needs, and strive to take the initiative to meet them in a timely manner.
