How to check urine red blood cell pattern

Urine erythrocyte morphology examination is a laboratory test for urine, using a microscope to observe the changes in the morphology of red blood cells in urine, which has certain value and clinical significance for the differential diagnosis of hematuria and hematuria caused by glomerular lesions, especially the appearance of aberrant red blood cells, which has more clinical diagnostic value. Urinary red blood cell morphology with more than 80% of aberrant red blood cells is considered to be glomerular hematuria. If the aberrant red blood cells are less than 20% and the homogeneous red blood cells are more than 80%, it is non-glomerular hematuria. If the aberrant red blood cells are greater than 20% and less than 80%, it is mixed hematuria, so urine red blood cell analysis is important to identify the source of hematuria.
