What are the reasons why women have mental illness?

According to our clinical studies, genetic factors play a role in the development of psychiatric disorders. According to the survey, the prevalence rate among close relatives of patients is several times higher than that of the general population. The closer the blood relationship with the patient, the higher the incidence of schizophrenia. Second, endocrine factors psychosis, anxiety, depression and many others are the onset of sexual maturity around puberty, and some patients have an acute onset after childbirth. The incidence of this disease is also higher in the menopausal stage. Thyroid, gonadal, adrenal cortical and pituitary dysfunction are suspected to be the causes of this disease. However, studies on these aspects have failed to make a definite conclusion. For example, some patients have withdrawn or sensitive personality traits, and people with pre-morbid personality traits such as poor logical thinking account for 50% to 60% of schizophrenic patients, and analysis of domestic data reveals that 40% of pre-morbid patients have timid, hesitant, poor initiative and dependent personalities. Fourth, environmental factors mainly include the patient’s chances of schizophrenia occurring in adulthood are significantly higher due to viral infection during maternity; pregnancy and perinatal comorbidities; unfortunate encounters in life from early childhood to adulthood; and close contact with schizophrenic relatives is also a major factor in causing the disease.
