Standardized treatment of sinusitis in children

  Since children with sinusitis have a series of differences from adults, clinical treatment procedures have their own special characteristics and cannot be copied from the treatment of adult sinusitis. In clinical work the treatment of sinusitis in children must follow a standardized treatment plan, which tests the patience and greater responsibility of the physician.  Children’s sinusitis classification: acute sinusitis Symptoms persist for no more than 8 weeks; acute recurrent sinusitis Symptoms persist for no more than 8 weeks, with more than 3 episodes per year; chronic sinusitis, with symptoms persisting for more than 12 weeks.
