What are the dangers caused by constipation?

Feces is the residue left over from the digestion and absorption of food through the stomach and intestines. Constipation can cause feces to stay in the large intestine for too long, leading to fermentation and decay, and can produce a large number of toxic substances. These toxic substances can interfere with brain function, thus manifesting as memory loss, distraction, slow thinking, etc. If the intestine cannot detoxify effectively, these toxic substances are excreted to the skin, resulting in acne, blemishes, dark spots, etc. For people with underlying diseases, the danger of constipation is even more serious. Because the stool is dry and difficult to move, excessive force is required to hold the breath, which will increase abdominal pressure, affecting blood pressure, which can trigger angina, myocardial infarction, cerebral hemorrhage, stroke, sudden death and other emergencies, thus endangering life.
