How to displace rhinoplasty implants

Displacement of the prosthesis is a common complication after rhinoplasty, which seriously affects the aesthetic results of the nose and is one of the reasons for reoperation after rhinoplasty. Displacement of rhinoplasty prosthesis mainly includes tilt displacement of the nasal root, displacement of the nasal bridge axis, displacement of the nasal tip and offset of the nasal bridge axis. Displacement of rhinoplasty prosthesis is mostly caused by small and improperly peeled cavities, uneven thickness, incomplete tissue and poorly sculpted silicone prosthesis. Depending on the type of implant displacement, the treatment is different. If the early postoperative displacement of the prosthesis is mild, it can be reset under the guidance of the doctor, and the nasal clips can be used for fixation and remodeling. For serious displacement of the prosthesis, or serious displacement after external impact, in this case, only another surgery can be performed to correct. Patients are advised to remove the prosthesis as early as possible and to reinsert it after 3-6 months of tissue repair.
