Bone marrow edema is a manifestation of osteomyelitis, an infection and destruction of bone that can be caused by aerobic or anaerobic bacteria, mycobacteria and fungi. Osteomyelitis occurs in the long bones, in the feet of diabetic patients, or at sites of penetrating bone injury due to trauma or surgery. The most common sites in children are the long bones with good blood supply, such as the tibia or the epiphysis of the femur. The most common points for prevention and treatment of bone marrow edema are as follows: 1. Take adequate bed rest, avoid weight-bearing on joints, and promote the absorption of joint effusion. 2.Orally take non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. 3.Local physiotherapy of the joint. 4, necessary joint puncture and fluid extraction, and joint closure. The synovial tuberculosis, choroidal nodular synovitis and other synovial lesions have their corresponding treatment methods, so we will not introduce them here. As to which kind of lesion you are suffering from, further examination is needed to clarify.
