What are the symptoms of novel coronavirus pneumonia?

Symptoms of novel coronavirus pneumonia mainly consist of fever and dry cough. Individuals may experience malaise and myalgia, but the symptoms are relatively mild, usually starting about a week after the onset of the disease, and the duration of fever is relatively long compared with other pneumonias, usually more than 3 days. Severe patients may present with high fever, gastrointestinal and neurologic symptoms. Chest radiographs may show bilateral gross glassy changes, blood tests may show an insignificant elevation of white blood cells and a progressive decline in lymphocytes, and individual patients may have elevated creatine kinase after muscle involvement and elevated liver enzymes after liver involvement.
