Report time: Amniotic fluid chromosome test results will be notified by phone in about a week, including trisomy 21, trisomy 18, trisomy 13. The final paper report will take about 3 weeks and 20 days. Amniotic fluid whole genome microarray analysis will take about 3 weeks to produce the report. Notes after puncture: 1. The baby will move more on the first or second day after the puncture, so don’t be nervous. In case of stomach pain or vaginal bleeding or water breakage, immediately consult the local obstetrics and gynecology department to listen to the fetal heartbeat or have an ultrasound. 2. Don’t take a shower for three or five days after the puncture to prevent the band-aid from falling off your stomach, as long as the eye of the needle doesn’t get wet. Do not have intercourse or do heavy physical work for one month after the puncture, and do not require absolute bed rest. For mothers-to-be who have to go to work, they can go to work as long as they are not tired.
