The main precautions for patients with hepatic cysts are the need for regular review of hepatobiliary ultrasound, which is usually recommended once every 3-6 months. Liver cysts belong to a benign disease of the liver and can be divided into parasitic liver cysts and non-parasitic liver cysts, and also into congenital gallbladder cysts and acquired liver cysts according to whether they appear congenitally, and also into solitary liver cysts and multiple liver cysts according to the number of cysts. Since liver cysts are benign diseases and most of them have no obvious clinical symptoms, most of them do not need surgical treatment and only need regular observation. It is only some larger cysts with significant local distension and discomfort that need to be considered for further treatment. They can be treated by surgery or by interventional puncture.
