The length of hospital stay for patients with hepatic cysts is related to their treatment, and they are usually discharged after about 3-7 days of postoperative hospitalization. Liver cysts are cystic lesions of the liver, which are generally benign and are divided into parasitic and non-parasitic liver cysts. For liver cysts with diameter below 5cm, if there are no obvious symptoms such as loss of appetite, pain and discomfort in the liver area, regular review is sufficient and there is no urgency for surgical treatment. If liver cysts show symptoms of pain and discomfort in the liver area or have a diameter of more than 5 cm, surgical treatment and interventional treatment can be considered. Ultrasound-guided hepatic cyst puncture and drainage surgery requires hospitalization for about 5-7 days after surgery. And for laparoscopic hepatic cyst debulking surgery, patients need to be hospitalized for 3-5 days. If open surgery is taken, it takes 7-10 days to be discharged from the hospital. In addition, patients should be given a light diet after liver cyst surgery and avoid spicy and irritating foods.
