Symptoms of cerebral palsy in two and a half month old babies are varied and mainly manifested as lagging behind in motor development, abnormal muscle tone, abnormal posture, abnormal reflexes and other symptoms. 1. Lagging behind in motor development: the development of gross motor and fine motor lags behind that of children of the same age. 2. Abnormal muscle tone: most of them show obvious elevation of muscle tone, and some of them show low muscle tone. 3. Postural abnormalities: babies can have various postural abnormalities, such as head tilt and lower limbs straightening in supine position; flexion of limbs, buttocks higher than the head or difficulty in lifting the head in prone position; crossing legs in scissors shape and toe drooping in upright hanging position. 4. Abnormal reflexes: generally manifested as delayed disappearance of primitive reflexes, weakened or delayed appearance of protective reflexes. These include embracing reflex, cervical tonic reflex, grip reflex and other abnormalities. Cerebral palsy cannot be diagnosed by symptoms alone. It is recommended to bring your baby to the hospital in time to confirm the diagnosis of the disease by combining with imaging and other means of examination. Under the guidance of the doctor, timely and effective treatment should be carried out to avoid delaying the condition.
