When to get the pentavalent vaccine

The exact timing of the pentavalent vaccination needs to be analyzed according to the health condition of the vaccinated child. The pentavalent vaccine is a polyvalent vaccine that combines five vaccines, including typhoid, paratyphoid A and B, cholera and tetanus. A total of four doses of the pentavalent vaccine are required, with the timing of each dose varying depending on the health status of the vaccinated person. If the vaccine recipient is in perfect health, he or she should receive three basic immunizations at 2, 3 and 4 months of age, followed by a booster shot at 18 months of age. However, if the vaccine recipient has an abnormality or disease at 2 months of age, three basic immunizations should be given at 3, 4 and 5 months of age, followed by a booster immunization at 18 months of age. If the vaccinated child is not cured by 3 months of age, he/she should wait until he/she is cured before receiving the vaccination, and it should be noted that the vaccination should be given within 1.5 years of age. In addition, children who have received the DPT vaccine should pay attention to personal hygiene and healthy diet, and maintain appropriate intensity of physical exercise in order to enhance their physical fitness and help prevent diseases.
