What are the contraindications of Clindamycin Phosphate Gel

Clindamycin Phosphate Gel is clinically indicated as an anti-infective gel drug for acne and skin lesions such as impetigo. Contraindication is that one should not be allergic to this drug and allergy is not allowed. Clindamycin can cause pseudomembranous enteritis and may be used with caution in patients with a history of pseudomembranous enteritis and other enteritis, such as long-term chronic diarrhea. Clindamycin is a gel and should be used with caution in patients with broken skin, as it can cause dermatitis and burning discomfort.
