Classification of the etiology of shock

Shock can be divided into the following types according to the classification of the etiology: First, hypovolemic shock, which is usually caused by various reasons resulting in insufficient intravascular volume in patients, resulting in a series of pathophysiological changes such as clinical shock. For example, blood or fluid loss, burns, trauma, inflammatory exudation, etc., may cause hypovolemic shock. Second, the distribution of shock, the usual causes include infectious shock, anaphylaxis, or neurogenic shock. Thirdly, cardiogenic shock, usually caused by cardiac disease resulting in circulatory insufficiency, and the occurrence of left ventricular forward failure resulting in shock, such as acute myocardial infarction, heart failure or severe arrhythmia, etc.
