First aid methods for hemorrhagic shock generally include stopping bleeding, correcting body position, keeping the airway open, blood transfusion and other processes.
1. Hemostasis: if the patient is trauma-induced blood loss, it should immediately take pressure and bandage the wound to quickly stop bleeding, and it should be noted that the bandage should not be too tight, so as not to cause local ischemic necrosis. If the patient is bleeding from the abdominal organs or the digestive tract, rehydration and hemostatic drugs should be used immediately.
2. Positioning: when the patient has hemorrhagic shock, the lower limbs of the patient should be elevated, which is conducive to the return of the patient’s blood to the heart. It is recommended that the patient’s head and torso are about 15 degrees to avoid damage to other organs.
3. Keep the airway open: when the patient’s blood oxygen saturation is low, the patient should be given oxygen in time, and a large amount of crystalloid and colloid fluid supplementation, placement of urinary catheter.
4. Blood transfusion: hemorrhagic shock is usually caused by the loss of a large amount of blood in the patient’s body, so blood transfusion can be carried out under the guidance of the doctor to replenish the patient’s blood loss in order to alleviate the symptoms.
Patients are advised to seek medical attention when they suspect hemorrhagic shock.
