Gallbladder Cancer Symptoms

Early stage of gallbladder cancer has no obvious symptoms, and when symptoms appear, they mainly include right upper abdominal mass, epigastric pain and jaundice, etc. It is suggested that patients should consult doctor in time.

1. Mass in the right upper abdomen: gallbladder is located in the right upper abdomen of human body, if the lesion is large, it can form a mass there.

2. Epigastric pain: it is usually transient severe pain or persistent hidden pain, which is difficult to be relieved by oneself, and most of the patients can have this symptom.

3. Jaundice: when the tumor continues to increase in size and obstructs or presses the gallbladder, bile ducts and other surrounding tissues, it can lead to bile stasis, resulting in jaundice, which is manifested as yellowish staining of skin, sclera and face.

4. Others: such as abdominal distension, loss of appetite, emaciation, fever, and so on.

If patients have the above symptoms and suspect that gallbladder cancer exists, they should consult doctors in time to improve relevant examinations, such as ultrasound, CT, tumor marker, MRI, etc., so as to make a clear diagnosis of the disease and carry out corresponding treatments, and do not make blind judgment on their own, so as to avoid delaying the condition.
