The indications for prostate particle implantation are basically the same as those for radical prostate cancer, and those who meet the following three conditions can undergo prostate cancer particle implantation: 1. Clinical stage T1-T2a; 2. Gleason score of 2-6; 3. PSA <10ng/ml. This kind of prostate cancer is relatively limited and can be better treated simply with this in vivo radiotherapy method. The treatment effect can be achieved with this in vivo radiotherapy alone. However, in China, most of the patients with prostate cancer are not in good condition when the tumor is detected. Therefore, it is considered that surgery should be performed along with prostate cancer particle implantation if one of the following conditions is met: 1. clinical stage T2b or T2c; 2. Gleason score 8-10; 3. PSA >20ng/ml; 4. peripheral nerve invasion; 5. multi-point biopsy of the prostate Positive pathological results, positive pathological results of bilateral biopsy; 6. MRI examination clearly has extra-prostatic envelope invasion. These prostate cancers have invaded the surrounding tissues and the effect of surgery alone or radiotherapy alone is not good enough, the combination of both is often a better choice.
