The etiology of renal cysts in young people is still unclear, and it is currently believed to be mainly related to occlusion of renal tubules and peripheral blood vessels, heterogeneity of the origin of the cysts, the role of active substances, and heredity.
1. Renal tubular and peripheral vascular occlusion: It is believed that renal cysts occur because of renal tubular and peripheral vascular occlusion. Renal tubular occlusion can be caused by the loss of contact between the renal pelvic diverticulum and collecting ducts, ischemia and local inflammation in the renal parenchyma. This leads to the transformation of pre-existing renal tubular and collecting duct diverticula into renal cysts.
2. Heterogeneity of the origin of cysts: some studies believe that renal cysts mostly originate from the renal tubules, mostly due to the obstruction of renal units.
3. Role of active substances: some studies found that insulin-like growth factor in cystic fluid can be involved in promoting the formation of cysts.
4. Heredity: the occurrence of renal cysts may be related to heredity, and some patients have family history.
If there is any discomfort, it is recommended to consult a doctor in time for diagnosis and treatment.
