Left temporal pole arachnoid cysts usually appear congenitally or after trauma and require neurosurgical consultation. If a patient with a left temporal pole arachnoid cyst has clinical symptoms such as epilepsy, memory loss, etc., and the arachnoid cyst is growing over time, neurosurgery may be required. If a patient with a left temporal pole arachnoid cyst has no clinical symptoms, i.e., no memory loss, no epilepsy, etc., it may not require treatment. If the cyst is no longer growing, no special treatment is needed.
