Chickenpox is an acute infectious disease, usually caused by varicella-zoster virus infection, which causes the patient to develop a generalized rash of spots, pimples, herpes and scabs. It occurs mostly in children and stops or resolves spontaneously after a certain period of time. Chickenpox usually causes fever for 1~2 days, and the whole course of the disease is about 1~2 weeks, which is also the infectious period of chickenpox, and the disease will not leave traces after healing. However, there are patients with low immune function, severe chickenpox will occur, manifested as systemic toxic symptoms, obvious high fever and hemorrhagic chickenpox. Most chickenpox diseases have a favorable prognosis, while a very small number of conditions are aggressive and may leave neurological sequelae or even death due to acute respiratory failure. Therefore, after the discovery of chickenpox disease, it is recommended to seek medical treatment as soon as possible, and follow the doctor’s instructions to standardize the treatment.
