Firstly, allergens should be avoided as much as possible, e.g. those allergic to pollen are advised to avoid gardens or wilderness during the onset season. In the meantime, symptoms can be managed conservatively with medication such as fluticasone propionate nasal spray or budesonide nasal spray. If conservative treatment is ineffective or insignificant, mucosal partial inferior turbinoplasty may be performed to improve ventilation.
